Volum celebrates the elegance of simplicity with a series of lamps that, in their similar yet intimately different shapes, complement each other in poetic compositions that narrate an all-round illumination.
Behind its apparent simplicity, the collection designed with the Snøhetta studio conceals a complex execution and a tribute to the ancient technique of glassblowing, which brings to life naturally imperfect shapes that are always unique. The diffuser spheres, with their glossy white finish, radiate a warm, soft, and diffused light, highlighting the beauty of glass and its craftsmanship.
The Volum family presents different options that can enhance any space and situation, either individually or as part of compositions, offering coordinated, room-specific lighting solutions.
The floor lamp is available in two pole heights and two glass sizes – 29 and 42 cm in diameter. Combining the two heights with the different sphere sizes results in four configurations that cater to different functions and needs. The taller frame, which reaches a height of 188 cm with the 42 cm sphere, is ideal for illuminating large living areas. The shorter version, at 130 cm, can be placed next to a seat as a reading lamp, suitable even for an airport lounge or hotel lobby. The intermediate sizes enhance the versatility within the collection. In compositions, by playing with the different heights of the four configurations or combining them with other elements from the collection, the floor lamps create original lighting solutions suitable for private homes, commercial buildings, and workplaces. This versatility is further enhanced by the dimmer located on the cable, allowing you to adjust the light intensity to achieve the desired atmosphere.
